AV resellers to get first look at Signagelive’s new FastTrack bundle for digital signage projects at InfoComm

North American debut for new turnkey bundle, which halves deployment costs for digital signage resellers and clients, set for InfoComm 2011 trade show next week in Orlando, Florida

ORLANDO – Signagelive’s new FastTrack digital signage software, player and screen bundle – designed to speed deployments and cut typical costs in half – has its North American debut for AV resellers at next week’s huge InfoComm systems integrator trade show in Orlando, Florida.

The FastTrack bundle combines Signagelive’s web-based digital signage software with a 42-inch Philips commercial LCD panel and a powerful, small form-factor AOpen PC that fits in a slot designed into the rear of a Philips ‘Smart Insert’ monitor.

“We call this our FastTrack bundle because it makes the deployment of digital signage networks, no matter the scale, easy to specify, affordable and simple to roll out. It’s particularly well suited to the AV systems integrators we’ll be seeing in Orlando because we’ve removed all the guess-work for them, and even put three years of warranty, support and software updates into a single price. It will be very easy for them sell on to their customers.”

“We call this our FastTrack bundle because it makes the deployment of digital signage networks, no matter the scale, easy to specify, affordable and simple to roll out,”

says Jason Cremins, CEO of Signagelive.

“It’s particularly well suited to the AV systems integrators we’ll be seeing in Orlando because we’ve removed all the guess-work for them, and even put three years of warranty, support and software updates into a single price. It will be very easy for them sell on to their customers.”

Cremins says the bundle’s overall cost is roughly 50 per cent that of competing offers that have come on the market and are promoted as simple, turnkey packages.

“We first started talking about FastTrack at ScreenMedia Expo in London last month,” adds Cremins, whose company is based in southern England, “and the response was phenomenal. We had a very busy show and are prepared for more of the same in Orlando. We’ve only been aggressively marketing in North America in the past year, and we see this show as an opportunity to build up our roster of resellers ) in the United States, Canada and beyond.”

The Signagelive platform supports language packs – meaning AV systems integrators and resellers can adapt and deliver a complete software user experience in any language. “We know Latin America and South America are very strong markets now for digital signage projects, and we hope to show how we can easily support projects that need to be managed in Spanish and Portuguese,” says Cremins.

The FastTrack bundle will be demonstrated at InfoComm booth #4688 at the show, hosted this year at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

The bundle is the centrepiece of a diverse booth planned for InfoComm. The stand has a live demo area intended to show Signagelive’s open architecture solution for scheduling and managing ad-based, retail and private communications networks of any scale.

Items on display include:

  • Philips’ new open pluggable specification-enabled displays, which have easy-install, rapid-service docking slots for PCs;
  • Advantech’s ARK-DS303P, which uses a Broadcomm chip optimized by Signagelive to run full 1080p 60 fps video and multiple content zones, on a relatively low-powered Intel Atom CPU;
  • New Advantech ARK-DS520 and ARKDS220 Intel Atom players with Nvidia ION graphics processors, in standalone and integrated “smart insert” configurations;
  • Advantech’s dynamically-updated SMIL devices, including a 10-inch XDS-104 screen and player running Signagelive’s virtual player.
