Signagelive to host seminar titled “Samsung Smart Signage Powered by Signagelive” at ISE Europe

Signagelive’s cross-platform support allows digital signage technology to become more mainstream by expanding market opportunities

Signagelive, a global supplier of cloud-based digital signage technology, has been invited by Samsung to host a seminar about smart signage technology and applications at Integrated Systems Europe, (ISE) 4 – 6 February.

The seminar, titled Samsung Smart Signage Powered by Signagelive, is being led led by Jason Cremins, CEO of Signagelive, and is taking place on the Samsung booth H20 in Hall 1 on Tuesday 4th February between 14.45 – 15.45.

Signagelive has leveraged its experience gained from developing SoC-compatible software for Samsung’s Smart Signage Platform to enhance its support capabilities for  other non-PC devices including Android media players developed by Dension, Aperture Raspberry Pi technology from Silver Curve, Nexcom’s B842 video wall controller and IAdea’s SMIL open standard players and signboards.

Signagelive’s new SoC-compatible software and its supporting library of over 200 ready to use templates developed for different vertical markets will be on display on booth number 8-L170 (in Hall 8) at Integrated Systems Europe, the RAI, Amsterdam, 4-6 February 2014.

Signagelive’s system on chip (SoC) software version replicates the functionality of its core-PC display software, giving digital signage technology users access to Windows-grade capabilities and functionality on a range of non-PC devices.

Signagelive’s SoC software supports different content formats including static images, video, HDMI input, IPTV, web pages and RSS feeds. It also integrates with QR code technology and all common social media widgets.  Its cross-platform support capabilities make digital signage technology accessible and affordable for wide-scale commercial use by all market sectors.

No technical expertise is required, so users can quickly set up and display content relevant for different audiences and manage that content centrally, locally or remotely via a device of their choice.

Targeted information can be displayed on different screen types and/or sizes scheduled to dynamically update, depending on factors such as time of day and/or updates from external data sources such as Screenfeed. Promotional information can be overlaid onto background content to reinforce marketing messages and encourage consumer engagement, resulting ultimately in increased sales.

Says Jason Cremins, CEO of Signagelive;

“Smart Signage technology on post PC devices not only eliminates the need for onsite hardware, it significantly reduces operational and energy bills. Our device agnostic support is enabling AV and IT resellers to create all inclusive digital signage packages appropriate for different markets, making digital signage appealing and affordable.”
