New appointment demonstrates Signagelive’s commitment to make its cloud-based digital signage technology accessible across all market sectors

Signagelive, global suppliers of cloud-based digital signage technology, has appointed Aferdita Qesku as Business Development Manager to join its commercial team in the UK. This new role demonstrates Signagelive’s position as a recognised supplier within the digital signage industry. It also demonstrates its intention to significantly expand its presence in existing and new markets in the UK.

Aferdita has over 10 years’ experience in business development and has held senior positions with niche entrepreneurial companies as well as large corporates. Prior to joining Signagelive she spent almost five years pursuing niche business opportunities for the M2M / IoT (machine to machine, internet of things) and digital signage industries.

Working closely with Roy Martin, Director of Sales EMEA, Aferdita will be responsible for UK sales, liaising with existing distribution partners. She will also establish business relationships with existing and new resellers to deliver digital media solutions to retail, education and hospitality sectors, as well as new verticals where digital signage technology has historically been too complex to deploy.

Signagelive’s cloud-based software, written in HTML5, supports Windows and non-Windows environments. It is fully compatible with a range of devices and technologies including Android media players, Raspberry Pi, Intel NUC, and a variety of Smart Signage displays, such as Samsung’s Smart Signage Platform.

Signagelive’s intuitive management software provides full support for different content formats including, but not limited to static images, video, HDMI input, IPTV, and RSS feeds. It also comprises a number of innovative features such as drag and drop functionality, QR code support and management integration for social media widgets. Its cross-platform capabilities make digital signage technology accessible and affordable for wide-scale commercial use by all market sectors.

Says Roy Martin, Director of Sales EMEA, Signagelive;

“I am looking forward to supporting Aferdita in her new role within the company. Her professionalism, vitality, and mindset for hard work, coupled with our expertise in developing cross-platform applications will help us secure business opportunities in existing and new markets.”
