Signagelive showcases innovative System on Chip (SoC) capabilities at International Signage Association Expo

Signagelive presents portfolio of ready-to-use dynamic signage applications for fast food, retail, education and corporate enterprise markets

Signagelive, a global technology company that specialises in developing cloud-based digital signage applications, will be demonstrating its latest dynamic signage capabilities, including its support for Samsung’s new Smart Signage Platform, at International Signage Association Expo. The trade show is taking place at Mandalay Bay Convention Centre, Las Vegas from 3 – 6 April. Signagelive can be found on Stand Number 1535.

Signagelive will also be presenting its new range of plug and play applications with ready-to-use templates for different vertical markets including fast food, retail, education and corporate enterprise.

No technical expertise is required, enabling static signage companies to seamlessly integrate dynamic signage applications with existing offerings and run engaging campaigns at the push of a button. Content can be managed and updated centrally or locally via different devices including Smartphone, tablet, or screen remote control unit.

Targeted content, such as seasonal promotions or nutritional facts can be configured to display on different screen types, depending on size, location and/or target audiences. Furthermore, content can be scheduled to dynamically update depending on factors such as geographical location, time of day and updates to external data sources.

All applications are written in HTML5, the new standard for cross-platform online applications. They are fully compatible with Samsung’s new line up of Smart Signage Displays and comprise innovative features such as drag and drop functionality, QR code support and management integration for widgets such as Twitter or Yahoo Finance.

Signagelive’s intuitive management software enables signage manufacturers to quickly communicate targeted content to specific consumer groups without needing to install onsite media players. It supports different content formats including rolling images, nested playlists, video streaming, IPTV, third-party websites and Media RSS feeds.

All software and applications are hosted in the cloud, which eliminates the need for onsite media players resulting in lower operational costs, reduced energy consumption and rapid ROI.

Says Raffi Vartian, Chief Operating Officer of Signagelive: “We are really excited about our new turnkey applications because they offer resellers of traditional signage an easy to use, powerful and affordable solution to bring to their customers. The digital signage market is rapidly moving to non-PC playback devices and the savings made by not installing onsite management software can be reinvested in the latest digital signage technology. This in turn provides a better user experience which helps improve brand loyalty and ultimately results in increased profitability”

The company has recently been selected by Samsung as a key partner to support its new Smart Signage Platform, which is being launched to the public in May. Formal collaboration between both companies was announced in January 2013 at a press conference in Amsterdam.
