Signagelive mobile and web triggering technologies to deliver responsive digital signage

Emergency Messgaging

New developments to Signagelive System on Chip (SoC) and HTML5 software provide smart signage network users with interactive capabilities

Signagelive, global suppliers of a cloud-based digital signage platform, is harnessing the power of mobile and Internet technologies by integrating its SoC (System on Chip) and HTML5 software with a range of third-party web triggering solutions to enrich its digital signage offering for end customers.

The full potential of these latest enhancements will be showcased through a series of real world user scenarios, including quick serve restaurants (QSR), retail and corporate communications, at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), taking place at the RAI, Amsterdam from 9-12 February. Signagelive can be found in Hall 8 on booth no 8-K318.

Signagelive will also have a presence on a number of partner stands, including Samsung and LG Electronics located in Halls 1 and 11 respectively.

Requiring nothing more than an Internet connection, existing Signagelive users will be able to incorporate contextual and responsive applications, such as live TV triggers, emergency messaging or assistive Point of Sale (PoS) services to their existing digital signage content, transforming their static smart signage networks into powerful interactive marketing tools.

Signagelive’s HTML5 software is fully compatible with all major smart signage offerings, including the Samsung Smart Signage Platform, (SSSP) LG webOS and Google Chrome, and it has been widely deployed across all verticals, including retail, QSR and hospitality.

By taking advantage of Signagelive’s web triggering capabilities quick-serve restaurant owners, for example, can enhance the overall dining experience and encourage brand loyalty by enabling diners to interact with digital menu boards and place orders using their Smartphones. No onsite servers are needed to store content and all static and interactive digital signage applications can be managed centrally using Signagelive’s enterprise-grade management interface.

Signagelive’s SoC software, written in HTML5 for cross platform functionality, provides full support for different content formats including static images, HD video, web pages, IPTV, multi-zoning for different media types, image layering, RSS feeds, portrait support and screen on and off control. It also comprises optional proof of content and delivery functionality for better network and campaign management.

“Digital signage, wireless and IoT technologies are merging and we are seeing the development of innovative Smartphone apps as a result.” Says Jason Cremins, CEO of Signagelive. “As digital signage networks become more sophisticated, system users want the ability to manage all services from a single point and our cloud based platform facilitates this via a secure cloud-based interface”
