The scope of this policy applies to all users, including administrators, employees, and third-party contractors, who access, manage, or display content on the platform. It covers acceptable content, prohibited activities, and general user responsibilities to prevent misuse or harm to the service, its users, or the public.
Users of the cloud-based digital signage platform are permitted to display content that aligns with the platform’s intended purpose, supports the goals of the organisation, and adheres to all relevant legal and ethical standards. Permitted content includes, but is not limited to:
- Informational and Educational Materials: Content designed to inform, educate, or provide value to the audience, such as announcements, updates, safety information, or instructional materials.
- Marketing and Promotional Materials: Content promoting products, services, events, or initiatives related to the organisation, provided it is truthful, non-deceptive, and compliant with applicable advertising laws.
- Branding and Corporate Messaging: Company logos, slogans, and other corporate branding that fosters brand identity, consistency, and professionalism.
- Event and Schedule Information: Content related to events, schedules, or appointments that are of interest to the audience, including calendars, reminders, and important dates.
- Interactive and Dynamic Content: Approved interactive elements such as live feeds, social media integrations, and real-time data that enhance the audience’s engagement, provided they comply with data privacy laws.
Content should also align with intellectual property rights, ensuring that users have the necessary permissions to display any third-party material.
The following types of content are strictly prohibited on the cloud-based digital signage platform: any material that is illegal, offensive, or harmful, including but not limited to hate speech, discriminatory language, harassment, threats, or any form of violence. Content that promotes or glorifies illegal activities, including drug use, fraud, or hacking, is not permitted. Users are also prohibited from displaying sexually explicit material, obscene or indecent images, or any content that is inappropriate for the general audience. False or misleading information, including fake news, deceptive advertising, or unsubstantiated claims, is forbidden. Additionally, any content that infringes on intellectual property rights or violates data privacy laws, such as copyrighted material used without permission or personally identifiable information (PII) displayed without consent, is not allowed. The platform must not be used to distribute malware, viruses, or any content that could harm the system or its users.
Users of the cloud-based digital signage platform are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and the content they manage. Each user must take appropriate steps to protect their login credentials, including using strong, unique passwords and ensuring that account access is limited to authorized personnel only. Users are expected to log out of the platform after each session, especially when accessing it from shared or public devices. Additionally, users are solely responsible for the content they upload or display on the platform, ensuring that it complies with the acceptable use policy and all relevant legal standards. This includes securing the appropriate licenses and permissions for any third-party content, such as images, videos, or text, and verifying that all content is original or properly credited. Users must also promptly report any security breaches or unauthorised access to platform administrators to prevent misuse and protect the integrity of the system.

Users of the cloud-based digital signage platform must not engage in any activity that interferes with the normal operation, performance, or security of the platform. This includes refraining from actions that disrupt or degrade the experience for other users, such as tampering with system configurations, unauthorized access to features or data, or attempts to exploit vulnerabilities. Users must not introduce harmful software, scripts, or code that could damage the platform or compromise its stability. Any attempt to bypass security protocols, gain unauthorized access to content, or manipulate system operations is strictly prohibited. Respecting the platform’s infrastructure and avoiding interference ensures that all users can access a secure, reliable, and functional service.
The cloud-based digital signage platform strictly prohibits any activities that are illegal, unethical, or harmful to the platform, its users, or the public. Users are not permitted to engage in unauthorized access, hacking, or attempts to bypass security measures. The distribution of malware, viruses, or malicious code is strictly forbidden, as is any activity that could disrupt the platform’s functionality or compromise its security. Users may not use the platform to engage in or promote fraudulent activities, including phishing, identity theft, or the dissemination of false or misleading information. Additionally, the platform must not be used for the transmission or display of offensive, obscene, or discriminatory content, nor for activities that infringe upon intellectual property rights, such as the unlicensed use of copyrighted material. Any violation of these rules will result in immediate suspension of access and may lead to further legal or disciplinary actions.
Users of the cloud-based digital signage platform are required to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations when accessing and utilizing the service. This includes, but is not limited to, laws related to data privacy, intellectual property, and digital content distribution. Users must ensure that all content uploaded or displayed adheres to copyright laws and that they have the necessary permissions or licenses for third-party materials. Additionally, any collection, storage, or use of personal information must comply with relevant data protection regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA, depending on the jurisdiction. The platform must not be used for any unlawful activities, including fraud, harassment, or the dissemination of prohibited content. Failure to comply with these laws and regulations may result in account suspension, legal liability, or further action by the platform or regulatory authorities.
The cloud-based digital signage platform reserves the right to monitor user activity and content to ensure compliance with this Acceptable Use Policy and applicable laws. While the platform does not routinely review all content, it may conduct random audits or investigations in response to reports of misuse or suspicious activity. Users should be aware that their actions on the platform may be logged for security and compliance purposes.
If a violation of the Acceptable Use Policy is detected, the platform administrators may take immediate action, which could include removing the offending content, suspending or terminating the user’s account, and restricting access to the platform. In cases of severe or repeated violations, the platform may involve law enforcement or regulatory authorities as necessary. Users are encouraged to report any suspected violations or unauthorized use to the platform administrators. Compliance with this policy is critical to maintaining a secure, lawful, and functional service for all users.
The cloud-based digital signage platform is committed to safeguarding user privacy and ensuring the security of data. All user data, including personal information and content, is stored in secure, encrypted databases that are protected by industry-standard security measures. Access to this data is restricted to authorized personnel only and is managed through robust authentication and authorization protocols.
To maintain the integrity of the platform and ensure compliance with this Acceptable Use Policy, user activity may be monitored and logged. This includes tracking login attempts, content uploads, and system interactions. Monitoring is conducted to detect and prevent unauthorized access, misuse, or security breaches. Logs are retained for a reasonable period to support these efforts and to assist in resolving any potential issues.
The platform adheres to applicable data protection regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, ensuring that personal information is collected, used, and retained in compliance with legal requirements. Users have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of their personal data as permitted by law. The cloud-based digital signage platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for any user who violates this Acceptable Use Policy or engages in activities deemed harmful to the platform, its users, or its operations. Suspension may be temporary and is intended to address and rectify policy violations, while termination involves a permanent cessation of access to the platform. Grounds for suspension or termination include, but are not limited to, repeated or severe violations of the policy, illegal activities, or actions that compromise the security and functionality of the platform. Users will be notified of any suspension or termination decisions and may have an opportunity to appeal or rectify the situation, depending on the nature of the violation. All content associated with a terminated account may be permanently deleted, and users are responsible for ensuring they have backed up any necessary data prior to the termination of services.
The cloud-based digital signage platform reserves the right to amend or update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time to reflect changes in legal requirements, technological advancements, or operational needs. Users will be notified of any significant changes through appropriate communication channels, such as email or platform notifications. It is the responsibility of users to review the policy periodically to stay informed of any updates. Continued use of the platform following the implementation of amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The updated policy will be effective as of the date specified in the notice, and users must comply with the new terms from that date forward.
The cloud-based digital signage platform is not liable for any damages or losses arising from the content displayed using the platform or from any misuse of the service by users. This includes, but is not limited to, any claims related to the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of the content, as well as any interruptions or disruptions in service.
Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the platform, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that arise from or are related to their use of the platform, the content they display, or any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy. This includes any claims resulting from the user’s content, misuse of the service, or infringement of third-party rights.
