Given the on-going energy and climate crises, it’s important for everyone in the digital signage industry to help minimise energy usage. The question is, how can we all do this without having to cut back on our networks’ operational hours?

Please keep in mind that for a fair energy efficiency evaluation, it’s best to compare only like-for-like models i.e stand-alone models against other stand-alone models. System-on-Chip displays are, by necessity, going to consume more energy than stand-alone players, as they are essentially two-in-one product solutions – that is, screens with built-in players.
