Luxion AG partners with Signagelive to promote cloud-based digital signage technology in Germany
Signagelive, a global technology company that specialises in developing cloud-based digital signage applications, is pleased to announce that Luxion AG, one of the largest AV suppliers in Germany and a Samsung distributor, has confirmed its partnership with Signagelive. It will be responsible for promoting Signagelive’s innovative digital signage technology and applications in Germany and neighbouring countries.
Luxion AG specializes in the distribution of business projectors and large format displays to AV-suppliers, office-equipment-suppliers and system integrators in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The company started as a Spin-Off from InFocus Germany in 2003. Its head offices are in Frankfurt and it has regional offices in Berlin, Mönchengladbach, Mettmann and Forstinning (near Munich). Luxion AG is one of the largest Samsung large format display distributors in Germany and will play an important role in the promotion of its new Smart Signage Platform developed specifically for commercial use.
Signagelive is the only company to date that has developed a commercial offering (comprising a portfolio of vertical-specific applications with preconfigured templates), enabling Samsung’s new platform to be promoted as a turnkey solution to end users.
Digital signage technology users can seamlessly integrate Signagelive technology with their existing offerings to run dynamic, engaging campaigns at the push of a button. Interactive content can be managed and updated centrally or locally via different devices including a Smartphones, Tablets, or screen remote control units.
Targeted information such as seasonal promotions or nutritional facts can be configured to display on different screen types, depending on size, location and/or target audiences. Furthermore, content can be scheduled to dynamically update depending on factors such as time of day and/or updates to external data sources.
Signagelive’s core management software is written in HTML5, the new standard for cross-platform online applications. It provides full support for different content formats including rolling images, nested playlists, video streaming, IPTV, third-party party websites and Media RSS feeds. It also comprises innovative features such as drag and drop functionality, QR code support and management integration for widgets such as weather and time/date.
