Signagelive adds support for the Samsung E Series

Today we have released an update to our Samsung Smart Signage Platform (SSP) Application which adds support for the new E series range of displays.

The E series range of displays are this year’s iteration of the Samsung Smart Signage Platform and in the coming months we will be adding support for some of the new features supported by these panels.

This release ensures that Signagelive resellers and customers can purchase the new E series range of Samsung displays with the confidence that they will perform to the same level as the outgoing D series range.

As a Signagelive customer using a new Samsung SSP E series display, you will not need to do anything to receive this update, the current Signagelive URL entered in to the display will support the E series; as well as continuing to support C and D range displays, providing complete backward compatibility.

Samsung has made some small modifications to the SSSP Platform which has resulted in us having to make a few small changes to our existing SSP applications, but there have been no major functionality changes.

All existing C and D series displays will automatically receive the latest Signagelive update within the next 24 hours without any need for manual interaction.
