TFM Networks Halves Cost of Digital Signage Networks for Cost-Effective Digital Business Marketing

TFM Networks and Signagelive partnership lowers cost of ownership of digital signage to give businesses effective advertising solution and new revenue stream

TFM Networks has halved the cost of deploying digital signage networks, enabling businesses to set up and run cost-effective digital advertising and marketing signage solutions across both single and multiple premises.

The technology infrastructure services provider has formed a coalition with digital signage software as a service (SaaS) specialist Signagelive to lower the total cost of ownership of digital signage solutions, enabling businesses to benefit from the technology for advertising and information use, and also to provide them with additional revenue opportunities.

TFM Networks’ new business broadband platform provides a leaner and more cost effective base from which to run the digital signage network, and its flexibility allows organisations to deploy a network solution to meet their specific cost and operating requirements.

TFM’s UK coverage of infrastructure and engineering resources ensure timely installation and support services, with the additional benefit of a guaranteed four-hour fix for any screen or device within the estate  – an option which is not standard for the industry but is possible with the TFM / Signagelive powered digital signage network.

According to Brett Rowe, sales and marketing director at TFM Networks: “Traditionally, private managed ADSL networks were used to run digital signage networks, which made them more costly to run.  However, with our fixed and mobile broadband solutions the costs start from £15 per month, and businesses paying for the bandwidth, service level and resilience they need and not unnecessary elements they don’t want or use. Digital signage networks are now a lower cost option for businesses and we believe that the return on any investment has to be shorter with this coalition offering.

“Existing network infrastructure within an organisation can also be reused where possible, helping to further control costs by carrying out soft changes in a controlled fashion, to minimise cost and risk to business. Adding in the TFM 3G mobile offering ensures digital signage can be deployed pretty much anywhere.”

Signagelive’s SaaS digital signage platform provides businesses with a single solution for updating displays, along with PC desktops and screensavers across multi-site premises, regardless of their geographical location. The resulting digital signage solution provides businesses with continuously updated, real-time customer information for marketing and branding purposes. In addition, for many networks a valuable additional revenue stream can be obtained by running adverts from partners and supiers.

Jason Cremins, CEO at Signagelive added: “Digital signage technology has matured over the years and is now recognised as a genuine marketing tool enabling organisations to promote products and services effectively and generate incremental income through advertising.

“By partnering with TFM Networks and recommending their business broadband to our resellers and strategic partners, we have been able to halve the network costs of deploying and operating a digital signage network. By offering a reliable and low-cost communications network, TFM are enabling the deployment of scalable, multi-site digital signage networks that were previously cost prohibitive for many organisations.”
