Signagelive demonstrates new SOC software version at Samsung Futurescape Retail Pop-up Event, Westfield Shopping Centre, Shepherds Bush, London 21-23 October
Signagelive SoC technology enables multiple content formats to be displayed in a single menu board template to create a composite consumer experience
Signagelive, global suppliers of cloud-based digital signage technology, shows continued support for Samsung’s SSP (Smart Signage Platform) by demonstrating the latest enhancements to its smart digital menu board application at Samsung Futurescape Retail Pop-up, a B2B event taking place at Westfield Shopping Centre, Shepherds Bush, London, from 21-23 October.
Samsung has designed all partner presentation pods to resemble a retail pop up shop scenario to show how digital signage technology, together with its Smart Signage Platform, can be used to deliver personalised shopping experiences and improve EPOS (electronic point of sale) processes. All digital menu boards in the Café pop up will be powered by Signagelive technology.
Signagelive has recently incorporated multi layering functionality into its smart digital menu board software, giving restaurant owners and managers the ability to improve customer engagement and increase overall sales. Using Signagelive, dynamic menu board templates featuring transparent graphics can be overlaid onto background video content at the push of a button, requiring no technical expertise.
Signagelive’s latest SoC software version also features an intuitive campaign management dashboard. Different menu items, pricing information and nutritional facts can be overlaid onto background content using drag and drop functionality and this information can be changed or amended on demand centrally locally, remotely via multiple smart devices. The new smart menu application can also interface with database and EPOS technology, delivering automated menu board updates, resulting in streamlined operational processes.
Signagelive has spent the last two years developing cross-platform digital signage software and was one of the first companies to launch a commercial offering for the Samsung SSP. By eliminating the need for external media players, Samsung’s SSP, powered by Signagelive, reduces the cost of a digital signage installation by a minimum of $500 while offering savings of up to 50% on the on-going running costs for power and maintenance.
Says Jason Cremins, CEO of Signagelive;
